Chell Design offers custom surface design including faux painting, murals and other decorative finish work to create interior spaces that compliment each client’s unique style and environment. Surface design applications include walls, ceilings, columns, countertops, floors, patios and furniture. We specialize in Trompe L’oeil murals, authentic painted stone and marble replication, metallic and Venetian plasters, metal leafing and embossed designs. Chell Design is a certified Modello Design, Skimstone and Omega Venetian Plaster applicator. We also offer hand painted paper application from Wallteriors and Vahallan Papers and large scale vinyl appliqué.

Chell Design Studio and Boutique is located at 11 S. Benton St. in downtown Kennewick, WA.
Chell Design Boutique carries an array of gifts and specialty items from local artisans, vintage finds and unique home decor. The Boutique is open Thursday and Friday 11- 5:300 and Saturday 11-2. You may also sign up for classes at the boutique.
The Studio offers classes in fine and decorative arts for adults and children. Click the classes page to view our current art classes for children and adults.
WHAT’S NEW:
Nouveau Day Spa Ceiling
Chell Design has completed the ceiling of Nouveau Day Spa! A stunning design in Brown Suede Lusterstone and Gold Palette Deco, this 18 X 22′ stepped tray ceiling will ‘wow’ you when you walk in. The new spa is expected to open in November, so come get spoiled and enjoy the spectacular foyer.
Chell Design has been busy…latest work
It’s been a busy couple months at Chell design. We’ve been working on a custom home and had the opportunity to create one of a kind finishes. We’ve created a large crackled plaster niche with layers of gold, silver and green glazes, a completely original tromp l’oeil tree, painted the table with a soft green and ‘flyspecked’ finish, glazed distressed chairs, created a ‘chicken coop’ finsih -mimicking layers of time worn paint, created distressed and crackled silver leaf finish over an mdf cornice and painted a faux woodgrain to perfectly match the clients vintage doors. The downtown Kennewick Art District is growing! 15 businesses are featuring artists on this month’s artwalk. Pick up a map at any business with balloons that evening or download one from the Kennewick Artwalk Facebook page. If you’ve never been- you will be pleasantly surprised!

Chell Design Boutique offers gifts, local art, home decor, and vintage finds to help you create an artful surrounding. Many of our items are one of a kind made by local artisans. We currently have seven artists work and are always bringing in new delightful pieces as unique as you are. You can also register for classes while your there!
