ADULT ART CLASSES
Fine Art, Fine Wine Workshops:
Come join us for local wine, appetizers and create an original piece of art. These classes are for everyone, even the self proclaimed ‘unartistic’. All our workshops use simple techniques and step by step instruction so you will leave with a great piece of art! You will have fun and learn something new along the way!
Cost of each class: $50 (Includes materials, wine and appetizers).

Layered Stencil Collage- Stenciling the right Way
Have you ever stenciled only to wind up with a mess? This Fine Art, Fine Wine project will take you through several stencil concepts -all in one project. You will cover stenciling using foam rollers, foam applicators, stencil brushes, using stencil adhesive, extender and raised designs. Each frameable hardboard project will measure 12 x 12.
Bring a blow dryer if you have one.

MORE ADULT CLASSES:
Foil Design Workshop! March 23rd, 9-12pm
You asked for it and it’s here! This open style workshop will allow the time to let your creative juices flow and create a variety of foil designs. Make large designs or many small pieces. Demonstration of technique will be shown at beginning of class and instructor will offer support and assistance for remainder of class. The cost of class is for studio time- all boards and foil may be purchased as needed. Prepped large boards may be purchased for 7.00 and can be cut down. Foil may be purchased by the foot, prices vary 1.00-2.00 a sq foot depending on color and pattern. There is no charge for using foil from the scrap box.

Batik workshop! Saturday March 3rd, 9am-2pm, with a break for lunch.
We had so much fun during the last class that we are making this a workshop! This eastern medium involves creating designs and images on cloth using wax as a resist and colorful dyes to make the images permanent. We will have lots of time to develop concepts and experiment with layering of designs and color. Participants will be able to make as many pieces as time permits. No experience necessary.

The Artist’s Hand- A Watercolor Workshop Saturday and Sunday, April 14th and 15th, 2012 9-4 pm (8:30 set up time and an hour lunch break)
Suzi and Chris have been traveling from the East Coast to Hawaii, taking lessons from fabulous watercolor artists. They will be sharing what they have learned in this fun filled two day workshop.
Saturday, Chris Blevins will be teaching vibrant wet-into-wet techniques. “These are not your grandma’s watercolors!”
Sunday, Suzi Vitulli will be teaching bold and colorful “negative painting” techniques. “This is where negative is a good thing!”

KIDS AND FAMILY CLASSES:
Wednesday, February 15th- Wild Prints: Intro to Printmaking 6-7:30pm: In this class kids will use printing foam to create colorful prints of their favorite animals real or imaginary and then embellish those prints with a variety of mediums. The prints will be matted at the end of the night. Adults are also invited to come participate with your children.

CANCELLATION POLICY:
You must cancel by email 48 hours and 24 hours by phone prior to class date/time to obtain a refund for the class. Tools or special materials ordered for you to use for class are non-refundable but may picked up. No shows will not receive a refund nor be able to make up class at a future date but will receive any special orders paid for.
